Dave's World-Famous Meatloaf

  • 3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
  • Combine the bread crumbs, salt pepper and spices, mixing well.
  • Beat the egg, milk, and soya sauce well.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the liquid and mix.
  • Add the onion and the beef and knead well to blend thoroughly.
  • Bake in a loaf pan at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes.
I like to serve this with steamed white rice, stir-fried veggies, and I use a sweet and sour pineapple sauce - available in most grocery stores in the Chinese food section. Or, if you prefer, you could use the same sauce as for the meatballs.

Every meatloaf recipe I had called for tomato in one form or another. Being allergic, I have to limit the amount of tomato I get in my diet, besides, it gets horribly boring after a while. So I took my famous meatball recipe and turned it into a meatloaf unlike anything you have ever tasted before.
